FAQ

Does this ask ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Gemini about my site?

No. A buyer's real question on HN put it well: “most sites have no idea whether that door even opens for them.” This page checks whether the door can open — title, description, canonical, one h1, citable answer blocks, matching structured data, viewport/lang, image labels, llms.txt, robots, languages, freshness. Whether an engine walks through is measured only by live probing (our paid audit runs ~50 real buyer questions per category).

How is this different from LLMGeoKit or Potatometer?

Both are free, no-login scanners (Show HN 2026-01-30 and 2026-02-19) that probe live AI engines — that half we do not duplicate. Our depth is elsewhere: the 20 audit parameters from engine/aeo_audit.py and HE/RU/EN language coverage global GEO tools skip. If this page ever stops beating them on depth, the line kills it (review round r135).

Will passing get me cited or ranked?

No promise. Checks remove mechanical blockers; engines decide citations. GEO research (arXiv 2603.29979v1, 2026-03-31) shows structured features lift citation rates, but no number on this page is a visibility score.

What happens to my pasted HTML?

It is parsed by this tab only via DOMParser. Watch the network panel — zero uploads, zero third-party requests (same rule as every tool on this hub).
