FAQ
Does this upload my image anywhere?
No. The image is downscaled and sampled with a canvas in this tab only. Watch the network panel — zero uploads.
What do I get out?
On-screen swatches with hex + RGB, one-click copy per color, plus three downloads: GIMP palette (.gpl, opens in Aseprite/GIMP), CSS custom properties, and a plain hex list.
Why not just use Aseprite?
Aseprite ($19.99) is a full pixel-art editor you buy and install. For the single job of pulling a palette out of an image, this page is instant, free, and needs no install.
Who owns my palette?
Method note: near-identical shades are bucket-quantized with 5-bit-per-channel truncation (each RGB channel shifted >>3, 32 levels per channel) before averaging, so they merge into one swatch.
You do. No copy of your image or palette is kept, sent, or claimed.
